The Commercial Space Committee of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce will host the Spaceport Community Council Meeting on Thursday, July 29 in City Hall, 700 N. Main St . 

The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m.      Food and beverage (sponsored by Trax International) will be available at 5 p.m.

 The keynote speaker for the event is Rick Homans, executive director of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority. Moderator Charlie Garcia of Trax International will then lead representatives of existing local businesses through an overview of what their company does followed by a panel discussion about what they see as potential opportunity and impact. Other speakers include Rob Richardson of Bohannon Huston, Gary Aschbacher of FastWave, Tony Martin of Fourteen30 Production Group and Rod Mitchell of Las Cruces Machine. The Community Council will conclude with questions from the public.
